CILICIA, Tarsus. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ (34mm, 22.24 g, 12h). Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Bull lying before garlanded altar; behind, upper parts of two figures around high column with cultus statue of Apollo Lykeios holding wolves; Demeter to left, holding in each hand a lighted torch; Perseus to right, holding patera and harpa. SNG France 1644 (same rev. die); SNG Levante 1119 (this coin). Near VF, dark brown surfaces, rough.
